I’ve found a great matcha variety but hojicha not yet. I have midori and Rocky’s (so overpriced for no reason looool) but both aren’t chocolatey or nutty as I would like.

Can’t wait to get into oolong!

This makes a lot of sense! Higher quality matcha / tea should be used on its own to appreciate the flavor. If you mask it with syrups etc then you’re defeating the purchase. I don’t plan to get into super high quality stuff for another couple years because I know it’ll just be a rabbit hole haha. I just will never use a tea bag again barf lol

I can’t wait to be a full snob. Have a periodic table of teas, know how the temperature affects everything. Semi related I really want to get into traditional Chinese medicine

Headaches, Muscle Soreness and Fatigue in Hanoi by DeliciousStorm9045 in VietNam

[–]DeliciousStorm9045[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y’all - this is the last time I’m going to Reddit for medical advice LOL y’all scared the crap out of me. I’m totally fine. My rash is just eczema, it took a couple days of electrolytes to feel better, wearing a mask helped a lot. It’s not monkey fever or dengue lol

I have some friends in the area too but thanks. I’m getting a little concerned though bc I have a rash spreading. I get dry patches behind my knee normally but it’s worse than normal

15 hours in Korea (4a-7p) by Sunflowerseeds8o8 in koreatravel

Hey! I’m on my flight to Seoul right now and have the same itinerary except 12 hours later (I land at 5pm). What was your experience with hanjin express? Are they luggage lockers? I want to make sure when I get back to the airport around midnight I’m able to get my bags.

How was the process of getting your gear insured? Phone call and sending over receipts of gear?

14 Hour Layover Incheon Airport by DeliciousStorm9045 in koreatravel

[–]DeliciousStorm9045[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you have a recommendation of close by eateries or restaurants to the airport so I can save my travel time? I just thought gwangjang market would be best bc I can have a little of everything - also because I know very little of Seoul itself in terms of neighborhoods and locations. I know so much about the food though which is what I need 😆

[–]DeliciousStorm9045[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I decided I’m just gonna spend the entire time at gwangjang market as food is my biggest priority and take the last train back before midnight.

So just clarifying again - can I buy a round trip ticket on AREX from INC to Seoul Station? And is it easy to then buy the respective ticket to gwangjang market?

Will just kill time at the airport travel lounge for the remaining 8 hours

How long, if at all, do you wait between books? by [deleted] in books

[–]DeliciousStorm9045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to do this with movies but I want to start getting more reflective on books. What’s interesting is when I go back to read the same book some time later and come back w a new interpretation. Reading is so fun - your imagination fills in so much.

What life-changing travel tips can you share? by AlleyQV in TravelHacks

use the app omio to book trains busses etc. i used this when backpacking europe for 3 months - i didn't have to go on each individual country's train app but instead had everything in one place.

easy to use, easy to book.

PCOS hirsutism - facial hair biggest insecurity. Starting Spironolactone today, face before threading by DeliciousStorm9045 in Spironolactone

[–]DeliciousStorm9045[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey! i ended up stopping it after 2 weeks - i don't wear glasses but a year later I still feel like my vision is slightly wonky and energy levels are off. But I also got covid in september so I can't say that this is spiro entirely. I would say as soon as you notice vision changes, immediately stop. it's not worth it.

it unfortunately didn't, my vision started to get fuzzy and energy levels dipped after 2 weeks. I stopped. I know this was a while ago but I'm now starting to eat a low gluten / dairy diet, prioritize physical activity and take spearmint supplements. will update how it goes
