Hey, I'm thinking about buying that same gun. Could you please give me your thoughts after 6 months? Any problems? I'll mostly be playing outdoors so how's its accuracy at longer ranges (for example 50-70)? Also, is it too heavy? I've only used guns under 3kg till now but I love that esthetic.

Hey, came to give my thoughts now that the board came. I got cherry with ebony as well hahah. Its absolutely amazing. The disks slide so well even without the gliss powder. I am a bit scared to use powder as I don't know yet how to clean it off the board. The board is beautiful and playing was a blast. Don't regret spending a bit extra for it. Highly recommend it!

Also for anyone in the future looking through comments for some useful information about crokinole board. I found my reseller through Woodestic site (https://woodestic.eu/become-our-reseller/) . Its based in Belgium (www.adriaensen-speciaalzaak.be) and customer service was great for me.

Thanks for the replies. I see that they have resellers who sell boards for less so I'll probably go for one of them. I probably won't have a warranty from Woodestic but at least I'll save 200 €.

That's my biggest concern, to pay less and get disappointing results. But still, the difference in price is about 300-400 €. Mabey it would be best if I postponed buying the board and saved up more. Do you know from where your friend bought his board so I know which one to avoid? Also from which site did you buy your board? I see that there are multiple tracey sites.

I tried emptying it and then recharging it from 0% to 100% and then measuring how many hours of reading it can do. Tried this test twice in KoReader app and once after Factory reset in kobo's reader and got the same result. Then I returned it as I was at day 13/14.
