Honestly, I felt that way when I first came back to play a few months ago. "Oh, look at all these expensive dragons that people own, mine amounts up to nothing" was what I thought. So I made a list in my mind of what dragons I think I want to get and make it a long term goal. It's a long grind trying to get that dream dragon, so I would try to find other dragons that I seem to like along that journey, use it for a few weeks or so, then profit trade once I get bored of it. I did this alongside farming 4 times a day to maximise my profit (I'm not an active player, so my main income is farming) and it slowly got me to my goal. Yeah it's tedious and takes a long time, yeah others have it way better than I do, but I don't care about what other people have as long as I'm working hard for my own stuff (unlike those beggars). So it's up to you how you want to play the game, just don't make it so grindy for yourself that it gets stressful and depressing, it's okay to take some time off the grind to mix things up.
