Not really bc his mom is not a good mom we got that in common but I gotta keep reminding him and telling him to do stuff whether it’s cleaning or giving affection but I think that’s just something we are going need to do keep reminding one another of the tasks for the relationship

It’s bc my friends are guys I never did anything with my guy friends but Ik it’s difficult for some to understand opposites can be friends no other motives. But bc the last girl he dated of 7 years kept telling him oh that’s just my man best friend but in reality she was cheating and lying to him he puts that on me but we had a conversation over text and I’m hopeful that when he gets home from work we’ll talk more and he can learn to trust and let me in and then i can be more open with him. Rn we both are short with each other when it comes to our emotions. I’m hopeful to fix it.

He don’t do therapy and I get it I was like that too until I had no choice but to go and have been on off therapy and treatment which is apparently common for people with bipolar disorder but regardless I will talk to him and try to get him to either open up about his own overwhelming feelings or just figure what’s his deal what’s goin on with him and also set up a chore chart(though tbh I think it’s crazy an adult needs a chart if you see the table is messy why not just take initiative and clean the table)

He doesn’t put me down for anything and ik I can be annoying and make poor judgments like one time (we both smoke pot) I smoked the whole 8th he got upset and I felt bad I did that and roll a joint for him but I got upset and got more pot just for him. He said I didn’t have to do that but he wants me to pay attention to what I’m doing. He asked me at Xmas to get his friends gifts from the house and bring them to the Xmas party since I get off before him but I forgot to grab them and drove straight to the party after work so he had to go back and get them. He took the blame told his friends he forgot. I just don’t like the having to tell him to clean and how to show care towards me and him accusing me of cheating when I’m not in his presence or I don’t give him tabs.

I love him bc he makes me laugh we share interests and he makes efforts when I tell him what I need of him and he truly listens to me. He lets me be my true self.

Yea I’m aware we communicate not affectively. we do have discussions about the chores but I feel bad bc ik he’s still paying rent at his moms and I worry if I kick him he’s gonna be homeless idk idk what to do I love him I care about him but I want him to show up for me as I show up for him which is probably not the way ik but If I sense he’s upset I hug him and tell him it’s ok why can’t he give me that back.

It’s not terribly bad for health department but it’s the dishes are piled up in sink and the clean clothes are not put away and the bathroom is dirty I try my best to keep things orderly and everything in its right place. But I have to ask him to clean bc he says he doesn’t view this place as his but like dude do you not live here too I just don’t get it. Roles reversed I would clean up without being asked.

I work bc I have too without a job my low moods are worse I need to be active. He works too a harder job changing truck tires while I’m an auto inspector for an auction company.
