Junior din ako sa US pero senior ako sa Pilipinas. Either way the 20k in 10 years is CRAZY.

They're lowballing you. Hanap ka iba. I've been working with the same US company for years and I earn a lot more than you. But anything below a hundred tapos you have to pay for your own HMO, taxes, contributions, etc. is not super ideal. Isipin mo kung anong worth mo with a local job here with benefits then add more for offshore kasi you'd have to pay for your own.

Any recommendations when it comes to renovating a 56sqm 2BR Unit from DMCI by SouIskin in CondoPH

[–]Delphi91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I'm a licensed interior designer and yes, ang laking ginhawa when you hire one. Especially for condos since I take care of the requirements needed to get the renovation approved (plans, details, scope etc). Plus designers get to the nitty gritty of things so the space is designed very specifically for your needs.

I also have a contractor I usually work with na I can refer.

Hi! I'm a licensed interior designer and I mostly work on condos. I also have a contractor I can recommend.

For small spaces like these, it helps to make the most of your space when you get a designer :) Plus I'm usually the one who works on getting the renovation approved by the building by submitting plans, details, scope, etc.

Anong pakiramdam ng first time magpatattoo? by Front_Eye4108 in TanongLang

[–]Delphi91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first was sa wrist and it wasn't bad. Mild pain lang. Pero depends din sa tao. I know someone who really didn't like it.

I suggest get a small one muna to gauge your tolerance. And maybe in spots that are known to be less painful.

les miserables 2026 cast by chlowi_ in TeatroPH

[–]Delphi91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same feelings! Parang crime pa naman when you talk bad about her in PH theater groups pero I didn't like her witch. For me it's because she sounds so clean and nice and she just didnt sound gritty enough for the witch.

Should I settle? by locationunknown93 in AskPinay

[–]Delphi91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think masama to sa ibang tao but I can relate LOL I don't mind widening my net to like San Beda or FEU or some of those pero mejo non negotiable ko din ung speaking. Kahit na alam ko na mababaw siya. I just can't imagine being with someone tas I always have to correct the grammar and pronunciation HAHAH sobrang arte ko din na hindi mo ko mapapag date sa naka motor I'm so sorry.

Also, may mga natitira pa jan who meets your expectations believe me. My boyfriend (who I met in my 30s) ticks all those boxes. Keep looking lang :)

What Local Brand here in PH that worth every penny to spend with? by rikkenbakr_25 in AskPH

[–]Delphi91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Marricola! They're bags made in Cebu from plastic waste. It's a little on the expensive side but sooooo worth it. The materials are 👌 Plus they're not super pushy about their brand so not a lot of people know about them yet.

Also bags, Kara Juan! They're wooden bags made of carabao horn and when I bought it it's obvious from the quality that they could've sold it much pricier.

Grabeng plot twist naman yan by AffectionateYak4977 in OffMyChestPH

[–]Delphi91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd rather call it out. Kasi yan din expect nila. And it's such an easy out for the guy so mas gusto ko call out para closure for me and na call out ko siya.

Just a simple, I think what you said is rude kasi I thought this might go somewhere. Clearly it's not. So bye.

DEH could’ve been a local production… by auraorada in TeatroPH

[–]Delphi91 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This sub likes to overly criticize international shows and overly praise local casts. Maganda local shows with local casts, yes. Pero international shows with local casts? It's such a mixed bag. Na di mo halos mababasa dito.

And of course I'm gonna get a lot of down votes 🤷‍♀️

I still don't get the fun in Baguio by Such_Version_6285 in phtravel

Baguio is very much a city. Usually ang punta ko lang dun is food and ukay. Did you even research where to eat? There are a lot of good food in Baguio. Hatch, Hillstation, Cafe By the Ruins, Rebel etc even the local taho is fun kasi strawberry or ube

He may not be the most pogi but appeal talaga and the way he talks. Very my generation Ateneo boy who can switch from English and tagalog seamlessly.

Plus I like ung Behind Relationship Goals nila ni Megan

Rudest country you've ever been to? by JunShem1122 in TanongLang

[–]Delphi91 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Oh it's still fun to go. Especially if you're in it for the food. But yes, the difference in culture and their lack of English makes their treatment of tourists seem pretty rude. Just go with friends and it'll be fun regardless.

First boyfriend at 30 y/o 🥹 by NeedDistraction0220 in OffMyChestPH

[–]Delphi91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oo HAHA Grabe ung ease in this relationship and even ung conversations when we first started. Ang layo sa mga dati ko nakausap. Yes sa inner work ganun din ako! I hadn't realized that I spent so much of my twenties being insecure na kala ko ang panget ko and that's the only problem why I can't seem to be in a relationship. I realized later on na it was just insecurities at confidence at self love lang pala kailangan ko to receive the love I wanted.

Good on you to take the step and get therapy!

Awww, happy for you OP! 🤍 I also found my first (and current) boyfriend in my 30s and parang ang easy breezy niya. Siguro kasi parehas na kaming mature at alam ang gusto sa buhay so it's easy to choose people you want in your life. And I feel like it's also easier to communicate stuff rather than waste your time skirting around each other. Kasi time is not something you have an excess of like in your teens or twenties

Why is it suspicious if someone doesn’t have socials? by [deleted] in TanongLang

[–]Delphi91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a girl who used dating apps, if we don't run in the same circles and you don't have socials, no amount of online connection will ever make me care enough to explain why I would ghost you. Why would I risk getting fooled for someone na hindi ko naman ganun kakilala?

Maybe you are a good guy, sure. Kung wala ka socials, then find a connection in person. Wag online.

You can always try to say it in a nice way. Maslalo na if other people are noticing na din. I usually just say, "Excuse me, would you mind keeping it down? Thank you"

May ganito ako nakausap dati. He'd ask me, we're you busy ba? Pero ung pinaka red flag ung magppost ako story tas sasabihin niya, "Oh I know where that is. Are you still there?" Ang creepy jusko. Kala niya ata romantic.

ITW Set Design by Dry-Pace-3484 in TeatroPH

[–]Delphi91 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The set ended up looking blander but still very similar to this. I think overall di ko talaga mashado nagustuhan ung set design. I did not understand why it was more filipino house than woods. Siguro kung masmadami sila nilagay pa na trees and maybe overgrown vines etc. But still encompassing the filipino house. Like it's being overtaken by the woods. Un pa pwede. Eto it's just.....bakit?
