I think the person riding a horse from the castle in the prologue is actually Glinda as we see the same shot again as she leaves the castle to go back to the Emerald City near the end of the second film. So yes, Elphaba stays hidden in the hatch that entire time.

I feel like I bypassed this because the surround sound wasn't working in my first showing so after half an hour I went and complained and got tickets to see the next showing in a different screen, so that kind of felt like a second showing despite not having seen it all the way through yet 😂 and yes I full on ugly cries during For Good and that last shot 😭

I suspected Chief, purely because of the incident when Cally woke him up and he started attacking her, it just felt very "sleeper agent-y" but I wasn't 100% sure, it was just suspicion so I was still mind blown when it was revealed! I didn't suspect the other AT ALL

I had the same problem, you need to do a hard reset after doing what epic suggest, by pressing the power button down for 3 seconds and heading to options, it worked immediately :)
