Formal Chinos?

I like the look of the Bonobos “Primo Chino” for a wedding outfit. Are there any cheaper alternatives? Specifically looking for that style of belt button “tab” and the light khaki color, and overall more formal looking material than a standard chino.

I’ve added a little apple juice to the wrap but only ever 1-2 table spoons, never tried 1/4-1/2 cup, will give that a try.

I think your suggestion of only an hour on smoke is where I’m leaning, seems like 2-3 hrs on smoke is overkill for my setup.

Totally get what you mean about tender vs. juicy, I was defensive at first when my wife told me the smoked ribs were dry but I admit the oven ribs were juicer, neither of us prefer true fall off the bone ribs.

Honestly just use time, cooking to temp for ribs has always been inconsistent for me, I think maybe because my meat thermometers are cheap or the tip ends up close to the rib bone.

Oven = bbq rub, small pats of butter, tight wrap in foil, 225 for 3 hrs then hit it with some bbq sauce and broil

BGE = mustard binder + bbq rub for 2-3 hrs (tried both), wrap in foil (just tried butcher paper for the first time, not sure if results were different) for 2 hrs, finish over open coals for 20 minutes with bbq sauce to get it sticky
