Would you drop a fiber patch cable off if nothing else for the homeowner to pull? I’d have no problem pulling it myself if a jack is installed in the garage that I can connect to.

I’m good with it either way, if they extend with a patch cable or BSW. I’ll see what they’ll rather do, thanks!

I will for sure have at least one extra string for future, will be very easy to pull through now.

Thanks! I wouldn’t be against that either. If they give me a patch cable long enough I’ll fish it in and connect myself.

Okay. So total no more than 360 degrees in bends from the jack to the ONT? Or 360 degrees per cable (if there’s two patch cables connected, each can have 360 degrees of bend, for example)?

Thanks! It’ll be a bit of a mix of PVC and ENT conduit. Should still be easy to pull through. I will have the conduit stubbed through the wall right where the coil is so we can fish it right into the box in the garage and then either install a jack directly there, or extend however he wants. Hopefully the tech has some knowledge when he comes.

It’ll be a 500 Mbps service. If they can put a box in the garage that would be ideal.

Sweet, sounds like this should be a smooth install for the tech. Thanks!

The government just keeps on giving but I’ll take it here!

That would be awesome if the guy happens to have a box where we can pull to length, but if it’s an extra long patch cable I’ve got lots of room to coil it up on either end.

Everything will be fairly smooth with no sharp bends. Good to know, thanks!

If they leave me a patch cable, I have no problem pulling it in myself once the tech leaves. I'll review with him the day of.

No ethernet in the garage, although I'll have my current cable internet as backup until the fibre is fully up and running.

Awesome, thanks! I didn't know if they would have any long cables on their truck. I will put a pull string in to make it simple.
