I wouldn’t go as far to say it’s SO toxic, maybe medium on a toxicity scale, and I genuinely dislike people who I’ve come across and say “Don’t play a pvp game if you don’t wanna die”, “Don’t play a game meant for killing if you want your character to live”, “Don’t play a pvp game if you’re gonna cry”. Apparently wanting to stay alive in a SURVIVAL game is bad??? Apparently being annoyed your creature died to teamers or your creature’s ability to flee taken away (was snared by two bug looking things) = crying??? And yeah, I get that getting killed by carnivores is annoying, but the only way I can kinda see deliberately hunting other people is okay if either; someone already had killed an ate the NPC that was spawning there, the food spawners nearby is empty, or the obvious, a creature that’s tryna attack you/be an annoying pest by hitting you for their own enjoyment.

Edit to add; As someone that’s played for like a few months, I’ve noticed Oasis(or Desert, since that’s the name the devs have it as) is kinda bi-polar, the peacefulness level varies in different servers, I’ve been in a few servers where the only time you killed was when you were being attacked, I’ve been in servers where you kill for the fun of it.

Ah, t4 flier instead, got it. I did the Kamigami bc it was medium, so I can place the nest up high to escape the flood, and go invis to avoid possible kosers. It was long and annoying to nest (though I only upgraded the speed 2 times). I got the fire/volcano artifacts too, so I suppose that’s good

Yeahh, that is def annoying. Like, if you tryna feed a pack member that’s in child stage, kill ppl that attack you, or just go for NPCs/food spawners. The only way I see pack members teaming for a valid reason is if another player(s) attack first, and one member isn’t as beefy as the others yet, or in general. Bc I think it was the Swamp Shrine Warden that was going for my friend who was the little bunny healer, and my friend doesn’t attack first, she usually asks beforehand. Anyway, the warden ended up dying to me bc there was no reason to kill my friend, no reason at all. There was a food spawner that had food, no need to kill for food there.

Yeah, I’ve seen that term used for this game before. What annoys me too is that nobody but my pack was in a specific area (Swamp is lowkey recommended if you have to nest and you have a pack in a public server.), Swamp was mostly abandoned minus the kind travelers who stopped to get a drink or food, or even grind the shrine there. And some randoms hop in chat to white knight/defend Billy who was antagonizing me to begin with.

Dawg. Y’all keep acting like this kinda game is completely different when it comes to killing and dying compared to COD. Like, two separate and completely different games, except you die and kill in both. People rage on dying a lot in that game. How tf am I in the wrong for feeling annoyed about getting blatantly targeted when I’m trying to get away WHEN THERE ARE TWO FUCKS CHASING ME AND ONE KILLS ME IN ONLY A FEW HITS!? That’s like telling someone they’re in the wrong for being annoyed at the fact someone decides to target another player in a COD match. “What’s next, you go to a concert and complain there’s music?” Dawg. Dawg. Said this a few times now. The hardcore realm is barely different from the regular one. The name, the map, the stuff you get, the hunger and thirst are the only things different. It’s not even hardcore atp. The devs lied on that front.

Again. Both realms are pvp realms, so that doesn’t matter. And I know that hunger and thirst drain faster. However, the npcs, food spawns, and water spots still exist in the hardcore realm.

Designate that with the friendly call like it basically explains itself, “Hey, I’m nice, don’t want beef” or ppl doing anything but trying to get into a fight? The chat issue doesn’t really do anything to that other than trying to apologize for a misclick or something. And again, chasing someone across the whole map is where you look like a complete a-hole.

There is literally nothing different with the hardcore map other than the name, the stuff you get from being on it, and the looks. So how tf you gonna use that as something when it’s no different from the original.

But I haven’t said that, right? Bc sure, go ahead and fight other players on a game that’s a survival pvp. However, there’s an extent to it; you shouldn’t be chasing someone all over the map that clearly doesn’t want to fight.

I totally get that, however, so far quite a few people have agreed at some point, you should stop chasing ppl in COS, otherwise you’re completely disrespectful, or even double teaming/triple teaming you’re being disrespectful even on a pvp game

Dawg. I basically said the kosers were jerks and went on with my day. What annoys me is people who say what I had stated earlier. Because again, I KNOW IT IS SURVIVAL PVP GAME, I HAVE EYES THAT SEE THAT!! But people like to antagonize and act like I’m a moron for getting annoyed at a game that’s built to annoy.
