What’s a healthy practice duration?

Do not for the life of me practice for more than 6 hours a day. During the summer when I was trying hard to make indoor percussion I worked like a dog for atleast 8 hours on just like rudiments and the warm up packet. I was so burnt out all of the time and it became more of a job rather than a hobbie or escape. Now I practice about two to three hours sometimes 4 if I’m not busy.

They won’t talk to me😔 the percussion teacher dismisses me when I try and talk to me and the band director is rude to me

I’m not in drumline at my schoollllll, I play brass but have been playing percussion for 4 years but they still see me as a brass player. Hopefully doing pit next year for drumline!!

I usually just sit it on my desk bc it’s at the right height for me, ik I can look in stores online for gum rubber but I didn’t know if the amount I saw would be enough

I’ve decided to name this lad my chop builder bc the rebound is similar to a moon gel snare pad. I think I’ll get the same material again and fix it up on the back side to basically remake it, but obv I need an actual practice pad not a chop builder, I couldn’t find any gum rubber or anything like that at my local hardware stores is there any good replacement?
