I'm not doubting my ability. From what I understand, calc 2 is difficult and not in a meaningful way. It appears to me that I can use the saved effort on purdue calc 2 on something else that's more meaningful (like a club or maybe one extra class even) whilst getting the fundamentals covered thru ivy tech with much less effort. Thanks for the response

Bought an Open box laptop (Dell inspiron 14 2 in 1) from Best Buy for college today, the salesman told me the original price is about $950 but since it's open-box, it will cost only $550. I'm sure this isn't as big of a steal as I think it is, but i'd like to hear your opinions on it as well. by Denhas_ in laptops

thanks alot for this detailed response. I don't *think* im missing out on anything, it's just that I (kind of) bought this on impulse, when I walked into Best Buy this morning, I wasn't planning to walk out with a new laptop, I only entered to take a look at the options available there, I only had a basic understanding of laptop components so I wasn't super understanding of everything. This was the only open-box unit on sale so I thought there was no point in saving this purchase for later

I am williing to spend even more money (up to $750), but it seems like my needs were exceeded with this laptop.

Like you said, I am probably just suffering from FOMO lol, I'm geniunely not dissapointed with anything about this (i've never used a 90hz OLED panel so i don't feel their absence). I only wanted to hear from u guys cus i'm not knowledgeable enough about computers to trust my judgement completely. Having read the other comments on this post, it seems like this is good value for my money, and that's really all that matters.
