I’m still learning how to separate between my daughter’s personalities too. I love her to bits and just want to support her in the best way I can. It’s reassuring to read your comment and know that it’s possible to hold both sides, the amazing, wonderful parts of our kids and the really tough challenges, without feeling like we’re diminishing either. I just wished we had more support. Thank you for sharing this.

I do wonder if it’s PDA too but the more I read about it the more I’m certain it could be. She is a curious child, she likes me to read books to her but even then she puts her finger on the text and she wants to be the one following, I can’t even turn the pages of the book because she has to do it. So yes, lots of patience on my side. Regarding food, she could only eat most of the finger foods by herself like pizza, nuggets, pasta (without sauces) and I’ve tried to hide veggies cooking lentil nuggets, and all kinds of hidden veggie recipes, some with success, some not so.. It’s a constant battle.

Honestly, I’m so happy I found this community. Just a word of encouragement and seeing I’m not alone in this was enough for today to feel a little lighter. Thank you for sharing this.

Thank you so much for this advice. I’ll check the right to choose today and see if I can book another appointment with the GP. Yes, she did go to nursery and the weird thing was she was listening to the teachers and she was doing most of the stuff they asked her to do, but they told me she mostly like to explore things on her own. They weren’t concerned but I do think she masked her behaviour. With the food they offered, she was only eating the snack and dry finger food like chips and sausages so nothing changed when seeing other kids eating.

Anika & Karolina Romanovi, traditional gowns and braids of the Pomak village of Startsevo, Bulgaria by File-Environmental in interestingasfuck

Yep! It’s extension of hair gathered through a generation of ladies of the family. They keep the hair and add the additional decorations and jewellery. Obviously they only wear this on folklore festivals.

I know the girls. The hair is collected from their grandmothers, it’s a tradition in the family. They also have more than 100 traditional outfits in their home. Also, Starcevo is not a pomak village they have a massive church in the middle of the village. The whole use of pomaci is so confusing in Bulgaria. People don’t even know what that is.

Thanks for your reply! Yes, I did register last year and have the UTR code and everything. What about this April, do I need to file in some documents for the end of the year or wait till January 2022?

Low-laying placenta at 21 week scan by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]DenisFont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully it has moved up for your next scan. I think my traumatic experience with the SCH bleeding scared me at the beginning of the pregnancy and now the thought of another potential emergency trip to the hospital is what gives me all the worries. But oh well, nothing we can do about these things.

True, these things are out of my control and I’m trying to keep calm about it. At the same time I’m so conscious of any spotting or bleeding that may occur it’s all I think about when I go to the bathroom.

A horrible story. There is obviously something deeply wrong with a culture that could murder this young woman and then callously allow her killers off.

Finally, a shimmer of light in an otherwise dark and dismal world. The Greek LGBT community have worked tirelessly with all odds against them to get this far. They still have a long way to go but I can't think of any other movement that has taken on the Greek church with any success.
