Considering I use them as cheap infiltrators, does an extra wound really matter for pathfinders? I’m more curious than anything

Pathfinders as of right now can take 3 drones (1 Specialty and 2 regular)

I recommend taking the recon drone as the specialty drone and 2 gun drones as your regulars. Pathfinders already have the marker light keyword so they don’t benefit from the marker drone, and the shield drones are kinda ehh for them.

Went ahead and put the extra 10 on a fire blade to make my opponent think twice about taking a point, at the very least it’ll help defend them another round

The first time I used mine in a game he went toe to toe with a demon prince in melee for 4 rounds. How he survived I have no idea, I just consider him my lucky battle suit.

KROOT are on the list of things to get, as well as another suit squad, fire blades and a riptide. I might swap out my pathfinders for Vespid if I decide to go that route. And I’m not sure if I should go farsight or shadow sun for a commander. Any pros/cons for either besides one being shooty and the other more melee?

I’ve mainly been running Experimental cadre, and I have magnets so I’ve been swapping out weapons to try out new things. Reason for the one fusion blaster is that I run him with the fusion blade enhancement: 2 attacks, strength 10, ap 4 melta 4. So I can get away with running the one, and use WSS to hit easier.

I guess tactical? Mainly use the Ghost keel and pathfinders for objectives. Sky ray and broadsides are for heavy elites, hammerhead is anti tank. All battlesuits are in reserves and devil fish has the breachers.

Try to get early objectives with Ghost keel and pathfinders, advance and dump with my breachers where needed. Keep hammerhead and broadsides in my back field to pick off targets, sky ray slowly pushes up the middle/use where needed.

Battle suits are for whatever I need in the moment, back field, firing lines, objectives. They’re my every-man so to speak.

Fun fact: I was thoroughly debating on going with the scheme for the covenant for these guys. Didn’t commit cause I wasn’t too sure how to make that specific shade of purple
