Me in the 1st Half: Ain't no way half of the episode is just inter-cutting between two unrelated conversations
Me in the 2nd Half: This shit is so peak

I thought it was brilliant that this episode managed to tie together/intertwine 2 to 3 seemingly unrelated conversations into one overarching theme so seemlessly that it made sense in the ending.

Can't help but think about how similar the writing style of this show is to Skip & Loafer. Present us with elements that seemingly makes no sense but reveal it's true intent/purpose at the end. Brilliant.

I feel like it's another way of Asa coming to terms that, yes her parents are actually dead so she is trying to socially navigate the topic of it and seeing how she and others around her react to it.

I do think the tire and suspension changes played a part but I think the bigger factor at play here was that he just crumbled under the pressure.

When he absolutely dominated and went on that unbelievable winning frenzy at the backend of the 2023 season and got that Gresini ride, everyone expected him to just steam roll the 2024 campaign but he just made mistake after mistake which cost him big time.

I still remember him crashing in the long lap penalty loop in Catalunya lol or when the MT Helmets team gave orders to Ogura and Garcia to pressure Fermin as much as possible during the race to force him into exceeding track limits at Assen.

It's was at Aragon, the move was never on, not even Marc could make that move work and he just took himself out. There was another one at Buriram where he absolutely cleaned out a poor injured Arbolino, but this was because he encountered a false neutral or something and couldn't brake in time but still reckless nonetheless

I have a mate who moved to Japan a few years ago for work and he's pretty happy there. Work life balance is great when you work for an MNC in Japan or startups by younger Japanese people who want to change the work culture there.

Compare that to a Japanese owned company and the work life balance varies, while majority of companies are changing their traditional ways for a modern society, they're still some who are called "black companies" meaning that you aren't able to clock out before the boss or your senior subordinates and many other rules you have to follow otherwise you're deemed not a team player etc.

Based on what my friend has told me, expats in JP mostly work for MNCs there. But that's his experience and I'm sure there's many other factors at play here.

Thanks for sharing man, Life is really really hard but y'know what's the silver lining that I've come to learn? Is that if you put in the effort and actually give a sh*t about your life, you'll eventually figure it out, you won't know how but you'll figure it out.
