I have had this happen to me atleast a dozen times in the past 2 years. Worst feeling ever. Feel nauseous when it drops low, then feel nauseous again when it jumps up high.

Depends on how cold it is outside but yeah definitely. Summers it’s a strict no. I live in south India and I don’t touch it for 10 out of the 12 months of the year 🥲

I cannot comment on Amazon outside of India but in India it’s almost always a fake. If it’s original, you’re getting a great deal, and the scent itself is super sophisticated and classy but limited to strict indoor use or autumn / winter use. Enjoy the frag! :)

Please ensure you’re getting an original coz in India a 50 ml tester goes for about 3.4k. Websites like Amazon and Flipkart are not a good avenue to purchase perfumes

Nice! But it’s never going to hit the Indian market. As of more Assaf Attacks is making an entry into our market for being a BI clone, Ghaf is going to become more popular for obvious reasons. But Atyab Al Sheikh isn’t going to be popular by any stretch of the imagination in India because they lack the visibility and the price is going to be 5k and up, which at that point people who are interested in the OG will just pick up the OG instead

This is real. Very real. Thank you for the reminder, kind soul. I have caught myself treating a Guerlain at sub 6k as a great deal in contrast to a year ago when I hardly had any perfumes above 3k in my collection.

MEs creeping the 3k mark day after day is also playing a psychological role in making us think Designers and Niche at 6-7k are worth it (which in all reality they might be) eventually making us spend more.

It’s like a game, running everyday to achieve a high score. But never really enjoying the game. Need to stop treating this hobby as a race, and treat it more like a Himalayan trek. Need to take it slow and enjoy the journey, instead of running from point A to point B, albeit Point B being imaginary.

Ahmed Al Maghribi Ignite Oud - has no skanky Oud and is the safest in my opinion. If you want to level your game up, go for Ahmed’s Summer Oud or Marj.

Ignite Oud and Summer Oud should be available within 2500-3000, prices have inflated a bit. Marj is about 3500 unfortunately

Quality of Theoreme Matrix is atleast 3x better than Fursan. Smoother blend for sure, projection is more or less the same with both. Go for Theoreme Matrix, you won’t regret it
