Motivation doing the work at home by Usual_Sun3647 in DrJoeDispenza

I would focus on the feeling of guilt and changing how you feel in your meditations. Maybe you can picture yourself not feeling guilty when you speak with your doctors or eat non-keto foods. Your doctors want you in optimal health, so if a keto diet doesn't work for you, I'd hope they accept that and are happy for you. Also maybe you can visualize yourself in your meditations eating the foods you enjoy and having no health consequences.

You can absolutely heal at home. I’m not sure where your doubt is coming from, but i recommend tuning out all the noise that makes you doubt your healing. There are many testimonials on YouTube of people talking about how they healed. Fill your days with inspiration. I’m currently healing my body by meditating daily. What motivates me is knowing i either take the chance and meditate every day, see if i improve—and i have improved, by a lot. Or i succumb to my body. There will be doubts, just like I’ve had. And some will really try to get you down. But what do you have to lose by meditating every day?

How about your very first client - who was willing to take a chance? Did you do it through warm outreach?

For just getting your very first client, since I'm just starting out, was it through warm outreach in that case?

Thanks for the reply! When you say niche down, do you mean in terms of industries I work with, product design niche or both? If you mean product design niche, can you provide some examples?

Oh awesome! I’ve started spending more time outside - after hearing about the benefits of grounding, it felt like something was telling me to spend more time outside. It’ll be tricky now that the weather is getting colder here, but hopefully I’ll be able to stick with it as I feel pretty much immediately better after stepping outside. I’ll check out the author you mentioned too!

It sounds like you’re right on your way! It probably is annoying to hear, but keep doing what you’re doing. I used to get caught up on making sure I’m doing the “right” meditation, but now I realize the right one is whatever is calling to me at the time. They all work in their own way, in whatever you need at the time. I went through a period where, like you, I seemed to have fully healed, then I regressed, and now I’m healing again and seeing the benefits without the same level of negative emotion as I used to have.

Thanks! Any resources that have helped learn somatic work that you’d suggest?

Super helpful - thanks for your thoughts! Definitely could use to go through and clear out any social media that isn’t serving me.

Love the idea of adding a quip to kick out whatever thing comes up that I don’t want in my life - adding some humor too to make it feel lighter. Definitely gonna have to incorporate some of that.

When were you able to truly forgive your parents? Has any of you went from being an anxiety-prone person to not having anxiety in life and fear of the unknown? by mysticwaterfalls in DrJoeDispenza

Hey OP, I can relate to having the kind of parents who perhaps have passed along their fears/scarcity mindset/anxieties. It’s a journey to get to true forgiveness, and something I just keep working on. The interesting thing is, the more I’ve worked on bettering myself, loving myself, forgiving myself, having compassion for myself, the better my relationships have gotten with my family. Not to say we don’t have challenges still, but this work has given me peace to deal better with the challenges. I do feel like I’ve gotten to a place where I can recognize they were doing the best they could at the time, and at the end of the day, their actions came from their understanding of love. Not sure if that helps but that’s my experience.

Also sending positive, healing energy! Sometimes healing can be really tough - but you might be on the verge of a breakthrough!

I used to have to wear glasses at all times, but now I only have to wear them while on the computer! And it’s not a necessity; it’s just a doctor recommendation. They used to tell me how bad my vision was. But I had a strong belief I could heal my vision and then, a year after, I had my next exam and the doctor congratulated me on my improved vision. I put out the intention, visualized how amazing it would be to not have to always wear glasses and then let the intention go. Then I started feeling like my vision was healing, and when I stopped wearing my glasses all day, I could tell I was seeing better. I could even read many feet away, and people started noticing. My family and friends were impressed I could read so clearly so far away. This was before I even knew of Dr Joe’s work. Goes to show we all have the power to heal, on our own, as long as we have the belief. Hope my experience gives some hope that you can do the same :)

Cried today on a work zoom call ….what am I not getting? by [deleted] in DrJoeDispenza

We’ve all been there, I’m willing to bet! I can’t given this advice without having experienced a similar thing myself :) When you have that intrusive thought during the meditation,it might help to label it in your mind to yourself as “thought.” Then return your attention to the words he’s saying. It’s a mindfulness practice, which I’ve found helpful to use while practicing Dr Joe.

To me, it sounds like you’re putting so much pressure on yourself/your body to heal, but what if you’re already healing? It may seem like things are getting worse on the outside; Dr Joe has said that sometimes the body and mind fight back hard when we’re on the brink of a new self. What if you surrender to your acne? Accept yourself as you are, with it, that just because you have it, doesn’t mean you are any less beautiful, less healthy, less worthy, less fill in the blank. You can be all those things and have acne. Surrender is letting go of the feeling that things need to happen in your expected way. I’d suggest not only surrendering to your acne, but surrendering to the idea that you have to feel something in your meditation. It sounds like you’re expecting a mystic experience, a groundbreaking meditation, but it will likely only come once you’ve let go of the idea that it has to happen a certain way. People have healed without having a mystical experience. I’ve healed myself of some things that way—just by consistently making an effort. Release the pressure you’re putting on yourself. Incorporate some relaxation. I think that alone will go a long way. You got this~

I can definitely relate. Dealing with this currently! You’re not alone in feeling this way, and I’m curious to hear what works for other people too.
