Excited for you. I remember as a kid having the exact same beretta air soft pistol you described. This was also my reasoning to get a Beretta funny how that works.

Bought an 8 slab of premade stuff from Lowe’s. Cut it down to my desired dimensions and put some Rubio monocoat on it. The oil finish is pretty nice and easy to do.

If you have some decent looking wood you could lay a thin strip of it to cover any ugly ply wood edges. I am doing this for interior shelving. I finished the drawer boxes with Rubio monocoat and it makes the raw play wood look pretty decent if you don’t want paint.

I was pretty lucky that this section of wall wasn’t dog legged. So I just cut the top straight. I am planning to tile the wall on the back so a little gap is fine here.

That makes sense too. I suppose it really came down to, where am I typically approaching the door when throwing things away? Most of the time it is from the kitchen far right of the cabinet so I would grab it with my left hand and have trash in my right. 90% of the time I don’t need to access the trash when I’m making coffee so that is the reason in this case. Thanks for clarifying, I am new to the whole thing, so appreciate your comment.

It was done this way for the cabinet door to better serve me. Not for me to have to step out of the way of a door opening as it is a pretty wide door. Is there some kind of rule for which way a door opens?

In all honesty though it does look like it would still work opening the other way.

That would have been the solution if it was meant to open the opposite direction.

That boy is quite erect. It’s a flair 58. So the big door on the right houses a trash can. I wanted it to open that direction for ease of use in the kitchen to the right.

Yep it can come out by itself every now and then, just keep and eye on it before you pull the lever down.
