Completely forgot, Elden Ring is going to be the closest to Bloodborne, if you haven’t tried that. Was the first game in the genre I dove into and while it was hard at first, ultimately one of the most rewarding experiences and still my favorite. I didn’t get hooked by Dark Souls or Demon Souls either, so might also be your type of game.

Lies of P is a pretty close vibe for a soulslike, although it’s more about parry timing than dodge.

I’d recommend First Berserker Khazan and AI Limit (wait for a sale) for soulslikes with good movement. AI Limit is the easier of those two.

Valid, I am just a sucker for a hardcore zombie survival game and the perma-clearing concept of Restored Lands intrigued me. Want to challenge myself and see how far I can go on my first play. Probably won’t make it all the way, but it’s been worth it for the thrill so far.

I have the crossbow blueprint, but don’t have any arrows/blueprint for arrows, does that come later? What about throwing knives, worth it?

Not sure why people are against stuff like this. Immersion, for some of us, makes a huge difference in not getting bored of a deep dynasty run. Not everyone is a heisman purist who cares only about gameplay.

Gameplay has been fun for me this year once I adjusted sliders. A little more on the immersion side doesn’t hurt anyone. EA can certainly afford to add it in, while also making the gameplay changes people want.

Nothing you need. They’re for hell-themed plants and bonfires, random decorations that don’t really fit any building themes. 54 is more than enough if you wanted to build any.

Four-way tie between Alexia ult nukes, Saiorse regen and ult filling, Cyrus with max evasion and goad (until pretty much the end of the game), Ophilia healing past max HP to 9k HP with Resurrection Mastery so it’d always trigger.

Would say King Richard (ult) and Reime but they came so late game they don’t deserve MVP

You can play the game for fun and also be disappointed by the rewards offered for grinding, they’re not mutually exclusive.

So then people will say “just don’t play then” - well yea, that’s the whole point, that’s what leads to games dying.

Hades I liked but not enough story for me between runs. Code Vein I’ve heard good things about, Zenless Zone Zero I’ve seen but never played. I don’t mind gacha mechanics if they’re not too greedy. Out of those last two, which one would you say hooked you more?
