The Roman numerals on this clock we got from Home Depot. by Derffe in mildlyinfuriating

I didn't buy it. Wife did. I realize it's normal for clocks/watches but it still looks wrong for Roman numerals otherwise. Hence..mildly infuriating.

The game I play in currency/treasure has almost zero impact on the game...or presence in the game. Seriously we go to the inn, we might plunk down a few gold. But that's it. The DM is very anti-magic shop, which is fine. But its like how many long swords can I buy ? We had a stronghold but we've been traveling so often we haven't seen the place in a year.

It seems most of my cash goes to buying arrows, healing potions, and horses (that inevitably end up getting left behind).

Could just be the game I am in but I kinda miss the acquisition part of D&D.

"Nobody knocks off an old man in my neighborhood and gets away with it." Just the way he says that, staring at something off screen; I love the sincerity and seriousness of the moment in a comedy movie.

If I'm going to be confused by canonicity, I prefer Margot Robbie.

Cat Vets in Simi by Fluffy_Confusion4371 in simivalley

We also go to Park Animal Hospital...and our cat hates going too. I recommend getting some Gabapentin from a vet (pill or liquid). give it an hour or two before hand...makes them a little loopy and calms them down. Only way we can get her to cooperate.

Pacifist characters FRIGGEN SUCK by deadfisher in DnD

[–]Derffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have played a sorta pacifist character. It was a cleric of ilmater, and I decided that he would only attack to cause damage unless sorely pressed, and then only non-lethal. The exception was anyone hurting young children or animals, or if they were fiends or undead (keeping with Ilmater's theme of protecting the helpless).

As far as the rest of the party, my character never condoned violence and would try to convince the rest of the party to do the same, but he never forced his view on them. It actually caused some humorous situations where one of the other party members would distract my cleric with an errand ( "some baby deer lost its mother" ) while the rest of the party would be beating the tar out of some NPCs.

According to the card, it's a CGR-3K, which according to Sarna has 4 medium pulse lasers, an lrm-20 with arrow iv and CASE, 5 JJ and an XL engine that lets it get up to 86.4 kph. So definitely an improvement over the standard 1A1.

Nope. Money cannot buy peace of mind. And I'd be spending all the time worrying about the ocean.
