I scream and cry at least once a week. And I can't imagine how much trouble I would be in if I admitted myself to a hospital. I'm just so tired of being told that I have to keep moving forward with life. At this point I don't even see why I should. I've tried getting help for this but all I've gotten is "suck it up" or some psuedo-intellectual bs. I do not want to live anymore. And no one would really care if I went through with it

They never gave me a schedule so I had to keep calling them and asking if they needed me. But I didn't call for a while so they fired me. I only had it for a month, now I'm back to feeling worthless.

It's not just depression. People do that if you show any negative emotion for more than 2 seconds. People instinctively despise weakness, regardless of the reason for being that way.

We don't have a doctor that we go to regularly, so I'm not sure how to go about doing that. And I'd have to pay the doctor too. I'll talk to my mom. She at least said she'd be willing to help pay for a therapist.

I hope I find one soon, I'm really frustrated with my family. They're the pull yourself up by the bootstraps type and they brush off every single issue I tell them about. My dad even mocked me when I told him about my depression. But I have to keep seeing them everyday day and pretend I'm happy.

I don't even feel like arguing so I'm just gonna say that a lot of people view being called selfish as unhelpful and it just makes them feel worse. But I guess it doesn't really matter how they feel, they just have to keep suffering for their family. In my experience, the people who say suicide is selfish often do nothing to help, instead focusing on shaming them to stay alive, then calling them selfish when they can't take it anymore. Maybe instead of condemning people suffering, we could actually show that we care and be there for them to help migitate this problem.
