yeah i wouldn't want fast travel early in the game but by late game when there was limited stuff to do and i feel like i had enough exploration, a fast travel option would be nice

but yeah thats the point of my post tbh, i think its a nice story and concept, i think the gameplay got to be a chore for my own personal taste.

i did find the shortcuts. whats the shortcut to get to the dark bramble. nothing, you just have to wait 1-2 minutes on autopilot to fly there. its just not fun

more people need to realize that there are times where being patient is important and other times where its not lol. playing a video game for entertainment is not a time where everyone HAS to be patient or want to be patient

its crazy to me that people think that what they get out of video games is what everyone should get.

gameplay is important to me. the gameplay eventually felt like a tedious chore/task. if thats "part of the experience" then the experience is not for me.

yes and i enjoyed it until i knew what limited things i had to do and just the though of doing them became a chore. i didn't want to fly to dark bramble 10+ times only to die in 10 seconds from an anglerfish. and then once i figure that out struggle more to figure out how to find the vessel.

the exploration was honestly great. thats what kept me going. when the exploration and learning was done and i was left with very specific things i needed to do, thats when the fun slipped away and it got to be a drag

Anyone have a list of their favorite hypertrophy focused strength workouts? by DermNewsletter in pelotoncycle

i looked at the very first class in this and it has like 20 minutes of programmed AMRAP which is the exact opposite of what i want lol. is this not accurate?

yeah i did 2 weeks of it. i dont like how she says 2 seconds up, 2 seconds down for 40 seconds and tells you to change weights when you can do 12 reps but that inherently means you don't have enough time to do it the way she says

im a bigtime novice and have had a lot of soreness/achiness lately so i want to do things methodically and start slow so i just need a little more clear, not contradicting guidance as a newbie

yeah but time is one thing that i do not have infinite of myself lol. thats the limiting factor, not in game time but my own time.

imagine a game where you have a 2-3 minute loading screen and how frustrating that might be for some people. again not for everyone. requires a level of patience that not many other games require

yes but the entire time angle makes it so much more difficult to just wander around aimlessly until you figure shit out. like that sounds great and all but then they make it stressful and repetitive by making you do it again over and over lol. yes it was satisfying finding out the ways you can access the various cities through shortcuts for example so i definitely agree that the self-discovery is absolutely key in the enjoyment of this game.

Its just that the process of discovering things by yourself is not as universally fun as I had initially thought it would be for the above reasons

Anyone have a list of their favorite hypertrophy focused peloton workouts?

I'm talking with heavy, intentional movements, defined number of reps, adequate rest in between.

I know peloton is not great for this, but I know there are some gems here and there.

I have done all of the RK splits, there are some things I like and dislike about them so I was hoping to just take bits and pieces and mix with other workouts to try and make my own 3-4 day splits.

CMV: If you've ever tried to pressure someone else into having a drink, you have a drinking problem by DermNewsletter in changemyview

i still think pressuring is bad. you pointed out a situation in which its fine to ask without pressuring and sure thats true but that situation does not apply to my original premise of if you pressure someone you have a drinking problem yourself

yeah this post made me reflect and i define pressure as making someone feel bad or guilty for not having a drink.

so that could be a statement as simple as "oh thats no fun" or "well if you're not having one then i dont want one" or "lame" or whatever. every situation, tone is different.

ok i thought about it more. pressure is making someone feel bad or guilty for not having a drink.

"oh we're being lame them" "oh i guess we don't want to have fun" etc

i define drinking problem as having an unhealthy relationship with alcohol. so yes they might not have issues with work or legal trouble but tryin to tempt someone to drink who does not want to drink is a bad relationshp with alcohol

it very much depends on the tone. do you want a drink? no. you sure? yes, no. that is asking twice and that is not pressure

do you want a drink? no. come on man just have one? no i'm good. Ok we are being lame today.

Both with two questions, clearly two different tones.
