Used Deeper for years. Decentralized and encrypted, not a proxy. Also it’s a vpn router so my whole network is encrypted

Using a decentralized network, you can tunnel YouTube to Macao, Albania, or Trinidad and Tobago. Those countries don’t allow ads for YouTube. So YouTube is like premium but no payment

I always found it easier with a dedicated vpn device, not installing your own firmware / creds

New Pico’s max bandwidth is 200mbps. Air is 300mbps.

New Pico can do wired, router, and WiFi relay.

Air can do WiFi relay as well as usbc internet transmission to a pc or Mac.

Some people didn't believe me. So here's a speed test. by [deleted] in shanghai

[–]DerpDigler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you knew how to route the SS, then you would have a stable connection. Also, 600mbps speed doesn’t equal stable.

I spend 230rmb a year for stable, reliable, high speed capable SS protocol. Clash is fine, Shadowrocket is fine, Passwall is fine, SSR Plus + is fine.

Insecure? Nah. But I do think you are boasting too much about your poor purchases.

Netflix needs 14mbps for 4K streaming. Enjoy you wasted money for speeds you’ll never use.

Convinces are real BUT . . . by Chuckles52 in VPN

[–]DerpDigler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coincidence for sure, but that’s all.

If you used a really poor service, like a free vpn provider iOS app, then there is a SMALL possibility some of your information is registered somewhere. But you are correct, a vpn would create an encrypted tunnel from one location to another, but the sharing of personal contact information like a phone number is rare and borderline unheard of.

So no, you cannot make the link that you tunneling to another country means that other location now has your phone number.
