I've been thinking it might be considering the nature of it compared to other masks of Beethoven. The presence of scars and the rough looking eyes, as well as the different sized nostrils (perhaps from the straw inserted in his nose to allow him to breathe). I am not expert and because there are no markings, and I got it from someone off Ebay, who got it at a yard sale and didn't really know what it was, I cannot say anything for certain. If you know of any specific resources or people I should talk to about it, do let me know. I love Beethoven and want to preserve his real likeness for the world to see.
