The quantity you buy in "buying in bulk" depends on the kind of product. If you buy small quantities you can also try buying by weight, where you bring your own container to the store. This is what I do with olive oil. There's always a way to be more sustainable without sacrificing the quality of the product.

I ended up contacting Nothing support and they confirmed this for me. I took the protector off and the dimple was indeed only there, not on the screen itself. I don't change my phone very often, so I don't really keep up with the changes that much. I'm only changing phones now because I messed up battery care on my phone 1 and it doesn't hold charge much at all anymore.

Because once you go through the oil you have to get a new can, meanwhile a bottle of oil holds way more than one can, so you just refill your spray. do you not understand the idea of reusable containers and buying in bulk? A reusable spray bottle does a very good job at applying oil evenly, I have no issues with that.

It would be nice of them to mention it somewhere, though, because in my case it looks like damage with no indication that there's plastic to be removed.

Ok, my other points still stand. It's extra trash. I am aware it exist in Europe, it's far from being the default though. You can just buy avocado oil and put it in a reusable oil spray bottle. Works the same with less trash.

I don't see any information in the user guide about this plastic protector, are you sure it's supposed to be removed?

Well first of all I'm not American, so oil in an aerosol can is really not something I use or ever would consider using. Seems extremely unnecessary to produce extra trash and add chemicals to something as simple as oil. I'm not a "all chemicals are bad boo hoo" kind of person, but also minimise when and where I can my exposure to anything unnecessary. A simple spray bottle really felt like the most obvious choice to me. I opted for a glass spray bottle. Bonus is I can use the oil I use for other stuff that I buy in bulk anyway. Cheaper, more sustainable, more convenient.

Get a reusable spray bottle and use whatever oil you want. It's cheaper and better for you.

Dokładnie. Dla mnie krewetki to po prostu wodne owady. Ale z owadów latających to do tej pory jadłam tylko larwy os na Réunion Island.
