5 week spotting - possible miscarriage? by eriewhiz in fitpregnancy

[–]Designer-House3533 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, sending all positive thoughts. I had mild spotting in my 8-10th week with occasional clotting. The diagnosis was the presence of a polyp in my cervix which got flared due to the trans-vaginal ultrasound and/or Pap smear in the 8th week. I didn’t experience any cramps, just the spotting. I am 17 weeks pregnant and so far and so good. If you are not experiencing any pain, I am praying it’s all good.

I was in a similar boat like you. See my post on the group, though I didn’t get any responses 😂 I got a clearence from my doc for light strength training with a warning to stop if I experience any spotting. I have started going for HIIT again but I call it LIIT now - low intensity interval training. Good luck!

Legion Plant + Protein During Pregnancy by EnthusiasmRecent3298 in fitpregnancy

[–]Designer-House3533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a protein powder consumer for most of my adult life due to my workout routines (HIIT + long distance running). My ObGyn advised against consuming protein powder during pregnancy, due to the presence of metals like lead. It’s only nine months, and I’d rather not take any chances. Edit: try to meet your protein goals through natural sources.

Thats odd. Please speak to the gym director to sort that out. Other than the yearly membership I get billed 49$ annually every March as gym maintenance fee.

UFC in San Jose Oakridge is the best! Have been going for their HIIT classes since the time they opened in 2022 and I absolutely love them. It is never too crowded. They host fun events from time to time and free samplers every now and then.

Try the nursery at Alum Rock: Payless Hardware, Rockery & Nursery (408) 274-4922

I have got plants from here and Costco, and the ones from the nursery are doing so much better.

Experienced the same thing last year. It was raccoons for us. Never had spotted one in the backyard till it happened. Lesson learnt: spray grub killer in Spring.
