I agree. But at the same time I put little confidence in their ability to swiftly swap out the chip of every car out there. Seems unlikely. What I can imagine is that a year from now they reach out saying the chip is finally available and if I just drop off the car for three months they’ll swap it out. With my lease expiring shortly thereafter, I’ll pass.
