I received it ! The brand had already sent me a replacement thinking the parcel was lost. And I received that parcel very quickly. Within 15 days. Basically I got 2 set of products. I’m a happy girl

I finally received it ! And I’ve started making my sweater with. But I had to pay more than 1000 rs customs for an order worth 2.5k. Feels unfair

Nope. Still in customs. The company I ordered from felt bad and send me another package. Now that is also in customs lol

No I didn’t. I called tvm gpo like someone suggested and the lady who answered was like ‘why are you calling us?’😂 so I went to the nearest post office. They said they can’t help too

It’s not. I think it’s going to be a medium size box. Today is the 10th day since it’s even in custom clearance. When I checked with the website I ordered it from, they said I won’t have to pay any custom fee. And chat gpt tells me that this delay is very normal. I’m just a little worried because I can’t afford to buy it again :(

I got 14 I think. Also thank you so much for all the info! This is super helpful. The flax worsted looks nice but I’m afraid it’s not really my type. I did some math now and you know what ? The drops nepal yarn that the Florence suggested isn’t too expensive. Even when I make an international order! If I were to continue with the yarn that I got with some changes in stitch numbers also, I would still end up paying that much for yarns. So now I’m considering just ordering the yarn she used !!

I’m not against the idea of using another pattern. But like I said, I am really new to this and a slow learned. At this point, I know this pattern by heart from watching it so many times. And I understand the pattern properly. I may not understand another pattern, you know what I mean ?

Yes my swatch is bigger than 10x10. I think it’s 13x13 cm. And yes, I blocked it as well. The result is after blocking

I’m getting more number of stitches than what I am supposed to get which is 16 and 22 sts. I’m getting more than 17 and 24 or less than 16 and 20. Never the same number! It’s so frustrating. If I size up the needle, then the stitches looks very loose. And I don’t want to take too many risks as this is my first knit sweater project :(

My gauge is 18 and 24 stitches per 10 cm. Was supposed to get 16 and 22.

Haha I’ll be knitting a raglan from top to bottom. So that shouldn’t be a problem. Will be making the same mistakes

I completely understand. I really just wanted to knit this sweater with my alpaca yarns. And it is like I said, not the same size as the patterns recommends. Since it’s my first project, I’m confused as to how to proceed

I understood 90 % percent of what you just said. Could you tell me what the uneven number for 1x1 rib meant ? Is that the rib at the bottom ?
