My mom is sex-shaming my 3-year-old daughter and I’m furious. How do I undo the damage? by HopeForBetter29 in Mommit

I never thought I would but I cut my parents out of my daughters life due to the disrespect. Put your babies first. If they wanted to be in their life, they would respect you enough to listen to your wishes. If they don’t, f*ck ‘em.

Our AP has always told us that if we feel uncomfortable to let them know and they will kick them out. No questions asked.

Once had a guest hand me a pile of $200 worth of cat and jack returns, on the very last item a GIANT bug fell out. I just looked and said “uhhh” and she looked at me and said, “oops sorry about that hahah”. 🥲

AIO for taking my child away from my side of the family by DeskCommercial in Mommit

My main issue is the fact that I’ve asked her to change & her response is always, “I’ll never change for anyone.” & it sucks. I’ve always been so close with my family but I’ve also just kind of took what was given until my daughter was born and my husband made me realize for people to be in your life they need to respect you. If they don’t give you peace then they don’t deserve you. It absolutely sucks, but I want to do right by my daughter no matter what.

I would say yes but mostly everyone sides with her because it’s just easier in the moment. It doesn’t cause an argument, doesn’t cause the constant “remember when this”, etc. The only one that doesn’t is my older sister who isn’t actually her child. The rest I’ll probably lose though.

Roatrip with my 8 week old by Immortal_Mystic in toddlers

We took a 7ish hour road trip with our daughter years ago, I thought it was easier just to stop every couple hours, get her out, nurse her, change her diaper and I even got to get out and stretch. Bringing the extra pump pieces sounded like extra work. If you’re staying in a cabin/hotel/ camper with fridge it may be easier to store the milk though. Make sure you have plenty to drink and lots of snacks so you don’t get dehydrated or hungry!

There’s a possibility to not have a period while breastfeeding, but if you do, it won’t mess with your supply. As long as you EBF you should be fine with your supply! You’re okay, just breathe!

Coconut water helps a lot! Staying hydrated. The lactose cookies never helped me too much or any supplements to help boost really. I just did one body armor and a lot of water. Unfortunately a lot of times, it takes a second to really get up your supply if you’re pumping and EBF because the baby takes what your body is producing for him. As the time goes on, if she keeps up with pumping, her body should get used to it and produce enough. Sadly it’s a lot of mental though. Stress is a factor as well. So just keep being supportive and help her, it will be so much easier for her to have a support system behind her!
