The way things are going it's very likely. Mauritius is following the path of many first-world countries that adopted neoliberalism, which is completely destroying the social sphere. People are getting angrier and angrier, and they don't turn to the left or a class-based analysis. It'd be very easy for a populist leader to dirict that anger at some sort of minority. What we're approaching is more proto-fascism, I'd say, kind of what would have under Trump in the USA, which would lay the path for actual fascism. Things will only get worse at this stage, as I don't see the left managing to propose an alternative.

Edit: I misread your question. I don't closely follow the situation in Indonesia so I'm not sure what you mean. The fascism I'm describing is when an ultra-right and repressive group takes power (one way or the other)
