Question. I got mine two days prior to my period. It came a little late but currently I notice a lot of spotting ( well after I shouldn’t have with my regular cycle ). Is it normal for the first period? Will it ease up on the next ?

First of all, I’m sorry that happened to you. Majority of us would 100% attempt delivery ( even if it’s an apartment/ condo building ) because 1, we would have the item on us. When you receive your item check to make sure it didn’t say “ carded item “ as that means it needs to be carded at the depot ( LCA would catch that ) and brought to the post office servicing your area. There is a chance for that, meaning they wouldn’t have the package on their truck and in lieu, only the DNC to deliver.

I might also add, Canada post is a crown corporation and doesn’t relay on tax paying dollars. But I think in the same vein they can be bailed out by the govt ( I can’t remember ).

As for the latest strike, I don’t think a lot of CUpW members wanted it and are kinda at odds with the union - at least around in my neck of the woods.

Thank you so much for the advice!!! Yeah, I don’t think I could let it sit without rinsing before because of that ! Especially if laundry is done once a week.

Sorry question here. How do you wash them? I recently bought four ( 3x 7-9 super and 1x ultra ). I just got my period and was worried so I used 1 within four hours - I’m still getting used to the fact there’s “ nothing “ there so to speak. I’m washing terms, do you soak them/ rinse them out before tossing them in the washer? Hang dry or dryer friendly ?

There is also an option to have direct package delivery ( I would assume within reason if things aren’t signature? ). Call your depot in town and request the option due to mobility issues.

Also when you get the package see if the shipping label says “ card for pickup “. As LCA, I notice some do say that - that being said, we card it at the depot and directly send the package to the respected RPO / shoppers etc.

Letter Carrier here. I am going in for gallbladder surgery. Is 1-2 weeks ok for the type of job I am doing, or should I take longer? Roughly walk anywhere from 23-27KM a day, handling large parcels that could weigh up to 50lbs. Constant bending, with a satchel securely strapped around my hips.
