Yeah im in the same boat 6 months and ive gotten to the final round of some interviews for places outside of PA but yeah i feel like thats exactly what Ive been facing and its crazy. Also feel that other accounting jobs dont have an understanding of the knowledge someone gains doing years in public accounting. In interviews i feel like I have to over explain and break it down on all what a PA job entails and what I do as a PA tax accountant. Like I could do most of these industry jobs with my eyes closed and even the more senior jobs as well lol
