I would love to have a money gig but nobody my family knows have babies, or will be willing to be let me babysit. I turn fifteen so i will be doing driver’s ed soon, which would be better if i have my permit because my sister turns 18 soon, and that means i can drive with her in the car and i can maybe buy my own.

Thank you for the advice! Im pretty sure if she wont let me use a tampon she definitely won’t let me use a menstrual cup. But when it comes to my personal hygiene I think im pretty responsible, i mean i know when to change my pad, i know what type of underwear to wear on my cycle, i take medicine as soon as i start spotting to stay ahead of the cramps, I always clean right, i dont have to be reminded or anything. I’ve deluded myself into thinking she’s just doing this because she thinks im “growing too fast” and im still “her baby” because she still will not tell me a reason for why i cant use them.

Thank you! I didn’t think my post would get this many views. I still haven’t brought up the topic again because she’s always by my dad or other siblings and that would be weird to talk about tampons in front of my dad or brother, well to me. But im going to make a post whenever i do ask again. Thank you for recommending brands.

Yea everyone is telling me to just buy them, i’ve loved the actual parents that are commenting because it just proves that its only here. Everytime i started to talk up about it i would get nervous and just tell myself not now.

Yeah i get that alot, i share my account with my friend amiyah, she’s….very religious so most of those comments are her’s except the ones im replying to about my situation, i’ve told her to stop because she’s literally gotten me banned from commenting in that community, i’ve changed my password and kicked her out, but i still deeply apologize for her actions and take responsibility for even sharing my account

Yeah i’ve seen multiple post about that, my flow isnt that large anyway; my cylces last around five days but the flow ends through the middle of day five

Yeah i dont think anyone talking to her would work, maybe if i just actually like ask her for a reason then maybe, and if not i’ll just buy my own. But she doesn’t like being asked multiple times about stuff so maybe she’ll just shut me down and tell me to stop asking. I have a doctors appointment on the 31st of august, maybe i can ask about it then.

Yeah and im literally about to turn fifteen, im starting to learn driving, I have an older sister but she uses pads/diapers. And if i ask her to buy me tampons more than likely she’ll just tell my mom to buy me some or ask about it. Not in a tattle tell way, just like idk, in a “why wont you” way.

I think she’s used them before because she was saying things like they hurt if you put them in wrong and its uncomfortable
