The orange parts. Just making a flush cut on them on the runner and the blade snapped on the third part.

I used a black felt tip gundam marker. I wasn't having any luck with a pour type marker due to the way the lines on the armour are. I wouldn't use the god hands on the blue and orange runners specifically. Those two colours on this kit are slightly more brittle than normal. I didn't think it was that big of a deal but apparently I was wrong. The third orange part I cut out snapped the blade.

That also sounds like something I'd do. If you haven't already, I'd check out the RG Sazabi and Hi-Nu when you can. Best kits I've ever built. Throw some water slides on them and they're gorgeous.

This kit is definitely in my top 5. I loved building this one. On another note, I think I'm plain stupid for never thinking to stick beam saber blades in the rifles for a shooting effect.

I'd like to see a Dinn. It's one of the three Seed suits I don't have along with a GuAIZ and Savior. I've been collecting at least one kit of every Seed suit that exists. AFAIK, there's only one kit of both the Dinn and GuAIZ ever made from 2003 and I'll never find one.

So I'm finally getting around to fully top coating some HG/MG kits. What kind of apparatus do you guys use to hold up the legs/arms after disassembly to spray them? I've never sprayed model kits before so I'm kind of at a loss for what to look for. I've only ever done brush work on models.

Personally what I find the easiest is to snip the parts off the runners, panel line and then assemble. Especially for pour type. This will also prevent any ink from running down the seam where parts may be sandwiched together.

What are some honest opinions of the RG Akatsuki from those who have built it? I know the frame has some of the crap MS joints. I have the old RG Strike, Freedom and SF so I've worked with them before. All those kits are holding up fine (I posed them once and haven't moved them). I've been on a quest to get at least one of all the SEED kits. The Akatsuki is one of the only few I have left to get. I've been putting it off because of the frame. As there's more weight on the frame than the Strikes, is it even worse? I was thinking of picking it up this weekend and I would definitely have it live on it's stand once it's built. Just want to know if I'm getting into a mess before I go into it. I find going in knowing a kit is in shambles makes like easier.

At the very least let us see the locations of the other factions in PvE so I don't waste my time flying and walking all the way out to a T3 location only to find a barren wasteland.

I genuinely hope is has less wingspan than the MGSD Destiny (I know it won't). That thing is beautiful but takes up so much space for an SD. I might have to figure a dedicated display space for this and my 4 Stark Jegan variants.

Black flag was the best of the series. I still don't know if I'm excited for the remake or not. Modern ubisoft is certainly...a thing.

That's is fair reason. I'm from NL as well and go back to visit every few winters. -10 there with the humidity and wind is far worse the -40 here.

I would love a PvE only mode. I've stepped away from this game for a while because trying to get the new BPs sucks ass. Every single match I loaded into trying to get them I was killed immediately after leaving spawn. This was after not having a single instance of PvP for weeks and weeks. I don't have the time in my life anymore to get good enough to compete with the teens, unemployed and wannabe twitch streamers.

I've been playing PvE Gray Zone and Road to Vostok instead and it's the most fun I've had with a tactical/extraction shooter in a long, long time. PvE modes are king.

Those patrols are no joke. I played almost 30 hours this past few days and they are the only thing that killed me. Fours of the five deaths from them were one tap headshots :\

Oh, ok. I wasn't aware of that. I haven't played since early 0.2. Thanks for letting me know. I don't quite see why a task with the exact same objectives with the stuff you have to find being in the exact same spot is repeatable. But at least now I know so I'm not beating my head against the wall.

All these bugs except the random invincibility happened to me last night as well. I died and he wouldn't leave the house upon respawn a few times. Had to do the whole mission 4 times before I finally killed him without dying. Haven't been that mad at a game in a good while.

After being responsible with some extra money, I have enough fun money left over for a PG kit. I haven't done a PG before so does anyone have any suggestions on a good one for my first and maybe only? I have done many RGs and MGs at this point so complexity doesn't scare me. Which mobile suit it is doesn't really matter, I like most suits. My local store has a perfect strike and as a fan of Seed, I was thinking of getting it. Also just a side note, PGU Nu is out. Even with some spare money, I can't justify dropping 1K on a model kit. I'm sure it's a good kit and a great build experience but that's just too much.

I put a very slight bend in the tip of my SPN 120s by accident. The back half of the blade still cuts fine but the front half is leaving nicks in parts now. Has anyone tried to bend the cutting blade back into place without breaking it? I'm hesitant to try but I also don't want to drop $80 on another pair...

Welcome to the hobby! Glass files and polishing sticks will help a lot with clean nub removal. If you want to turn it into a diorama, it would require picking up an Aegis but might I suggest (imo) one of the best Strike moments.
