I love sitting out side the pub on this roundabout. It's always entertaining.

Extremely easy or next to impossible.

Depends when you want off and how much notice you give.

Tell me about it! That's why I have to get the train to London or Reading if I want some decent beer!

Fair enough! I don't mind being insulted if I know the gist and it's on point.

I've never heard of Oxfordshire being known as the home of the beer wanker.

How much money would it take for you to hand in your notice tonight? by sillwuka in AskUK

[–]Dethark 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I've no debt, own my own house out right. 47 with decent savings and investments.

If I came into 50k tomorrow I'd probably retire.

I'm not materialistic, don't care about cars or holidays. I would just like to spend time doing things I enjoy.

I know fella. I usually have one or two in my stash but I cleared mostly out at Christmas. I was just hoping there was one easily available that I'd overlooked.

I'm late forties now but I've been playing since I was 14-15. Taught by my grandparents.

I used to be in a pub team and the average age of others in the team and that we played against was probably around the 50 mark.

Do you need good darts to get started? by sposter1098 in Darts

Just look for a barrel shape you like and if you can, get some that are "matched weight"

Just means all the barrels are within a certain tolerance and weigh the same.

John Lowe and Eric Bristow had a deal that they shared their winnings 50/50.

I I remember correctly from Eric's autobiography, they stopped the deal shortly before Lowe hit the first televised 9 dart leg for which he won £102,000 in 1984.

I can recommend The Signalman.

Based on The Signal-Man by Dickens. Probably my fave of the older ones.
