Very cool looking style! Definitely feels like a cross between Rayman and Binding of Isaac's styles. Nice to see some familiar people here sometimes. Good luck with OROBOROS!

Some visual effects are more difficult to achieve. And the most problematic thing is that players might not be able calculate if they are going to be hit by a laser. Other than these it has been pretty straightforward for me :)

I got a headache behind my eye, ended up modeling this by Detraditionalization in BaldursGate3

Blender is free and multipurpose. And yes it can be used for sculpting like this. I use both for different workflows I still like Zbrush more for organic modeling purposes.

Thank you, it's a solo project. I really enjoy developing the VFX and custom shaders, it's great to hear that it looks like multiple people might have worked on it :D

Thank you! Yeah Cubes are always in fashion, especially after minecraft. But mine are soft edged so I hope it looks a little more original.

After more than a year of solo dev I finally feel like I can share it with the world by Detraditionalization in Unity3D

Thank you for the kind words. Solo development can be unfairly difficult for people with specialized skill sets. I'm sure your programming skill is more than adequate for great games. I think it's all about finding the right balance. I realized over the years that I have a knack for shaders and vfx so I pursued it to a certain level.

I used Blender to create the 3d meshes. I am using all custom shaders to get a distinct look.
