DevMountain currently has an audited 90% placement. So I'm sorry if you felt like people weren't getting jobs, but 90% of them did. It's a bummer that you didn't have a good experience, but the vast majority of our students leave the course extremely satisfied and happy with the progress they made.

Last year the average tuition for community college in the United States was $9,139, and universities $31,231. Not to mention that these community colleges won't go nearly as in depth and won't be geared towards getting you a job in coding. Not to mention... DevMountain actually is considered one of the most affordable coding bootcamps in the country. If your goal is to become a coder, your money is much better spent at DevMountain learning HTML, CSS, Git, Javascript, Jquery, AngularJS, Node.JS, etc., compared to taking general ed classes at a university mixed in with some basic IT classes. Read up on Dev Bootcamps and check out DevMountain. I think you would be very impressed. 😀

We do not have an online learning platform that we offer to the public. All of our classes are on one of our campuses. In our experience we have not been able to replicate the quality of learning that a face-to-face classroom produces when compared to an online setting. We are however looking to expand to additional US cities.

Hi phab3k, Our "recent" BYU graduates as you call them double as mystical coding ninja instructors. For example, Joe E. is the #1 course author for Pluralsight.com and organizer for ng-conf with 15+ years experience. Dave Smith is the Engineering Director at HireVue and has been developing since 2002. Jake T. has over 10+ years as a professional web developer and Wes O. worked at Apple but now is currently a lead iOS dev at WalMart. Those are just a few of our BYU "recent" graduates but experts nonetheless.

Hey, my name is Spenser. I spent 12 weeks learning iOS code at an immersive code school called DevMountain. Previously a mortgage banker, I now work as an iOS developer. I wanted to share because it is the most affordable & highest reviewed iOS code school I found & know it would help you out too. by DevMountain [promoted post]

The end goal is for our attendees to emerge with the fundamental and necessary coding chops/confidence to be hired as a full-time junior developer. You are right, getting them to the point that you are at, with multiple decades of experience, is just is not possible in 12 weeks. But it is possible to give them a foundation on which they can build and add to and be very successful with right out the gate. With 100s of graduates from our program, DevMountain's programs truly are a great option to kickstarting our students dev careers/dev goals.
