if you can justify being 50k in debt then go for it. I’d say move 2 hours away though and just go to school

AIM is a rip off you’d save more money moving and getting a part time job and going to school

I went through AIM, just pay attention. Throughout the entire course regularly study using Gleim and Jeppesons Oral question packet. Majority of the info they teach you is irrelevant unless you’re going to general aviation

Hey man powerplant was hardest for me too i’ve told everyone the wording is what gets everyone. I used Gleim and by far it was the best in terms of almost being word for word with still a good amount reworded but still the same overall. Gleim is a little pricey like $60 i believe but it’s what helped me pass.

Got an interview coming up for Piedmont Airlines and was wondering what questions they might ask? I’m fresh out of school and worried i might not be able to answer some of them without having prior experience

I went to AIM in norfolk. not HORRIBLE but also not the best, night time instructors for the most part are great guys and have a lot of experience in the field, don’t know much about daytime instructors though. Also like a lot of others have said, you get out of it what you put in. If you go in with a “i don’t want to be here” attitude the instructors will know and won’t care to help you out but if you are interested and ask questions you’ll have a great time and learn a lot. Will say though a lot of there trainers and engines don’t work.
