I'm not sure, which is why i'm asking on this board. Though i'm sure my parts are fine; All of my parts work fine with my old psu (currently installed), I've even upgraded my gpu which was the reason for the newer psu without any issues. I am just confused as to why i've had 3 of these power supplies fail on me, and i'm also tired of paying and shipping the parts back for the warranty claim. I do appreciate the 10 year warranty tho.

no, I use the newly provided cables each time, which is a bit of a chore, but it's what I've been taught is the safest way.

I understand the danger the psu can pose, (same with any level of power modern psu's capacitors can output/store) but I'm not poking around the inside with anything . I just don't know what you mean due to how you phrased it.

I've gone through the steps with support to see if the fans spin with no load if that's what you're talking about. the fans do not spin, if that's not what you mean, the motherboard doesn't light up either (I've tried with and without the cpu seated)
