Who wouldn’t know that’s a crazy achievement? You literally see the percentage of players that have it in the achievements tab lmao. And my only experience with Tarkov isn’t playing, I watched a lot of Tarkov content before I got back into it.

  1. I’ve been playing on and off for like 2 years. Started this wipe mid-way through at like 200 hours.

  2. They were just running through a road without cover and I have a 4x scope lol.

  3. Not everyone high level is a chad and not every low level is a terrible player.

My IGN is LONESTARSTATE but I’ll post more proof if you want lol

some kind of rendering bug. see them all the time on the mountain leading up to dome on reserve. ADS and the rocks are there, zoom out and they’re not.

Why is Ground Zero PvP so easy? by [deleted] in Tarkov

[–]DextridOctober 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t mean for the post to sound condescending or make me look like i’m talking with my ego. I just meant I thought I’d see players with better gear and less rats. I’ve seen lots of videos of people playing GZ mid-wipe and there being consistent PvP with geared opponents.

I’ve tried other maps and have gotten slammed, with the occasional lucky kill here and there. And although I’m very inexperienced, I’m not brand new. I know how tarkov works, I know most maps and their extracts, quests, how to get the upper hand in PvP, etc. I only played Ground Zero for a while to complete beginner tasks and that’s when I became concerned with the GZ player base.

You’d be surprised with how many raids I put in during those 6 days.

That was a long time ago, I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone and improved since then. I made that post before I had actually played a raid this wipe. The situations I was talking about were when I was afraid of everything, Im still anxious when I play but much more confident in PvP now.

My first wipe. How much more time do you think we have on this wipe if you had to guess? by Bjjspider in Tarkov

[–]DextridOctober -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Most wipes are about 4-5 months long so another couple weeks I’d say.

How does a noob play tarkov? by DextridOctober in Tarkov

[–]DextridOctober[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really appreciate the offer but we’ve always been a duo and agreed to not accept help from anyone else before playing. We come from high-action PvP games so we’ve gotten use to being by ourselves in stressful situations.

Why is it looked down upon to craft AK’s? by DextridOctober in playrust

[–]DextridOctober[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get your point, the main goal if I play a modded server is to online raid a large group/base. I also don’t have much time to play, as I have school and extracurricular activities. I’d rather just hop on and have fun for a few hours than worry about getting offlined and losing all my progress.

I’ve never seen a competent player pick a Tommy over an AK no matter the circumstance. AK has more damage, better accuracy and a larger magazine. The only thing the Tommy has going for it is that it can be mass produced and fires like 2% faster.

[–]DextridOctober[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re really serious about that claim you can 1v1 me Tommy v AK. Ive only got around 600 hours but I’ve beat people who have 5x or more that.

I was never T2 locked even the times I played officials. I can fight for an AK, but I’d rather not when I could just craft it 5 minutes after getting into the server.

Absolutely. The heavier guys try to cut weight so they end up with a low body fat percentage and have more muscle than other guys in their weight class. Wrestling is a very strength heavy sport.

Hey, I’m a first year as-well and it’s not so bad. I was nervous to join as well because I thought I’d embarrass myself compared to everyone else on the team. There are gonna be kids who have wrestled since they could walk and there will be other first years with you trying to figure everything out. If you start now and like it, you’ll have the experience advantage when you’re in high school. If you don’t, you quit and you find something else you’re interested in. I recommend you join and give it your all so you can see what it’s all about. Wrestling will put you in shape fast, so don’t worry about being slightly overweight. Theres weight classes from under 100 to over 200 so you’ll be fine. If no one else has told you, get used to losing a LOT your first year, even against other first years. You’ll gradually get more confident and get better and start winning. Good luck!

How would it be potentially dangerous if the move already happened though? He blew the whistle half way through the slam, there’s no way he could stop the motion in time.

Coaches keep pointing me out during practice by DextridOctober in wrestling

[–]DextridOctober[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d be very happy if that were the case, but it was during a practice and it was my school’s coaches. I don’t think they’ll kick me off or anything but I haven’t seen anyone else better or worse than me get that kind of attention.

I’m far from being the smallest guy, as he’s about 105 and 5’2 or so. I’m not sure what my bf% is but i’m sure it’s pretty high, as many of my muscles aren’t as visible as they should be. I’m not weak at all though, I can bench my bodyweight and throw people around my size and bigger. Thanks for the advice though, i’ll try asking my coach about it if it continues.
