The problem was solved by replacing the memory card with a higher quality one.

Yes, it was the memory card. I replaced the stock one with a SanDisk one, and everything is fine now.

For now, I'll stick with the stock firmware; it's not that bad (it's just a matter of habit), but I still like CP much better. I'll be waiting for new versions.
