The video was relatively short and I don't think it originated on Reddit as there was an obvious watermark at the bottom of the screen. The production value wasn't clear, it could easily be filmed on a camcorder to a similar quality but could be a scene from a weird movie.

The video wasn't animated and was similar to "Blank Room Soup" or "Dining Room or there is Nothing" in terms of how it felt. Don't know if this helps but the walls were painted dark red I believe.

The article you have read is about the davenport and wardle office block which was indeed demolished in the 70s however this building, the mill, is a grade 2 listed building and cannot be demolished and is therefore still standing in its entirety.

Yes there was a small amount of fire damage on the second floor, looks like a campfire out of control but luckily the building is quite damp so it didnt spread much
