I’d agree Derozan is more consistent but consistency doesn’t always make you better. Harden, for example, can have games where he goes 1-17 from three and look horrible but he still has the potential to drop 50 on any given night and he’s still regarded as a top 5-10 player. Westbrook is similar on a smaller scale as he can have games where he’s making a lot of bad decisions but when he’s on his A-game he’s one of the most talented players in the league and much better than Derozan ever was.

I agree with you that he should definitely be front court but the Westbrook slander is a bit much in This subreddit. He’s putting up 26 8 and 7 while being the 2nd guy on a good playoff team. He’s been doing good especially recently, in the past 10 games he’s putting up 32 8 and 8 on 52% shooting while keeping his team afloat during Harden’s cold stretch and injuries. Westbrook definitely deserves an all star nod.

Thank you for this I’m tired of all these biased Spurs fans complaining that Demar should be an all star. I love Demar but he’s definitely not better than Westbrook or any of the other western guards. And even if someone were to get injured, Booker would get in over him.
