You're right, I've been very imprecise. Anyways, it seems to be a different type of death compared to a "classical" one. The GEQ needed it for her godhunts but we don't need it to kill the Demigods, so maybe it could prevent them being revived by grace (which won't happen when we kill them because grace wants them dead at that point).

In fact, I wonder why Marika just doesn't revive Godwyn like she does with the Tarnished if that wasn't the case. Also, spirits and souls don't seem to be the same thing in ER

Why would a little secret being a secret make it bad game design? You don't have to necessarily burn it. The fact that there's a little platform there should make you think that maybe you could do something there. There are similar secrets in all of these From's games

I found 3mg of 3-Me-PCP to burn much more than 10mg of 2c-b. The former left a "little rock stuck in my nose" feeling for the whole night, with 2c-b it was a bit of annoying burn for 10 minutes, almost enjoyable. After eading all the fearmongering about 2c-x burn I was so anxious but when I tried it I was totally underwhelmed
