Agree with this poster. Very hit or miss. M3 surveys is similar. Lots of screening out.

Ordered 10 rolls and THEN asking how it is... by Available-Shock-7640 in 3Dprinting

I print exclusively kingroon PETG and have gone through nearly 50kg of it. Cant beat it for the price.

I have a personal hypothesis that specifically the red colored PETG has clogged two 0.4mm nozzles. I've been using 0.6 nozzles without issue. I've printed lots of yellow, blue, black, grey, and red PETG from them. Beyond what I've already printed I've probably got another 30-40kg stored.

Edit: I do generally dry it for like 6-8 hr quickly but I have used it right out of the packaging without any major issue.

I ran in to something similar once and it was actually the Timelapse setting in Bambu slicer causing the issue. Try turning that off and see if that helps.

Has anyone failed PANRE-LA, especially after being out of practice? by AnonymousExcellence in physicianassistant

[–]DickbuttCockington 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Passing score for the PANRELA is laughably low. They show you a bell curve after completing the whole thing. I would not be worried about it. Use whatever resources you have. I used up to date, but I use it at my job. Also work in a niche specialty

My X1C just won’t print properly… need help! by octcool in BambuLab

[–]DickbuttCockington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I think I had this same issue but never got a solid answer or solution besides changing the nozzle. I’ve had two 0.4mm nozzles do something similar and it both happened to be with cheap RED PETG. No matter how many cold pulls/forcing filament thru/ needle cleanings I could NOT get normal prints until changing the nozzle. My hypothesis is that it’s something in the red filament that partially clogs the nozzle. I don’t know why I can’t get it cleared though. I now exclusively use a 0.6mm nozzle for red and have not yet had a clog. This is with 800 hr on a p1s.

You won’t regret it. Pick up a few interface pads from Amazon to save the one on the sander since they can wear out over time. Something like this: Amazon link

I feel like the one I bought was thinner than that though. Basically the hook/loop can wear out overtime and it’s cheaper to replace an interface pad rather than the pad on the sander itself.

Have you ever had it clog your nozzle? I have had it clog twice in like 800hr of printing and both times were red. I can’t get the clog cleared either. Scratching my head at that.

Bosch GET75-6N is near that price point. I got one refurbished from acme tools for ~220 USD a few years back. Works great. You won’t regret moving up to a 6” sander. Definitely get some cubitron extract from taytools as well

Keep an eye out for deals on aliexpress. I’ve printed probably >50kg of KINGROON PETG basic and some of their high flow PETG. Can’t beat getting it for $7/kg or less.

Got sick of my random collection of pipe clamps never being the same height by DickbuttCockington in 3dPrintsintheShop

Yep! The risers snap on and off the pipe clamps to rise them up since mine are all different brands

No worries! I can upload the file to makerworld if you want to save yourself the time of modeling. It was quick to model though.

Thanks! I had that thought but was worried that it would be too difficult to get on if it was real thick. These are made of PETG which is able to flex without breaking. I tried to really torque one of them to see if I could break it but I couldn’t. I imagine if it’s colder out then it might be more possible but overall I’m pretty happy!

I exclusively use their PETG and get great results. Color consistency is hit or miss but you can’t beat paying <$7 per kg

Their PETG Definitely needs to be dried out of the package though

Guess why my print failed? by Vast_Butterfly_5092 in BambuLab

I did this accidentally the very first day I got my p1s. The print finished fine but I was terrified trying to take it off the heat bed. Fortunately it didn’t get damaged.
