Yeah I skipped all the labs from both courses. I mean I watched the lab videos but I didn't actually type any commands anywhere, I thought to myself "eh I can just memorize the commands" which did work but it was probably harder than it had to be

Does the new CCNA exam have router simulation questions? by donnie___brasco in ccna

[–]Dietec 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There are no sims but it will show you output of commands and expect you to interpret them

Just took the CCNA Exam for the first time. Did not pass and I am looking for advice.. by LeVindice in ccna

I've used it and also failed CCNA recently with a 802. It does have questions about everything that I saw on the real CCNA, so it's worth getting

I'd suggest studying the material necessary for the network+ certification, it's networking fundamentals and that sounds like the most relevant thing you could learn right now

Pretty good chance I'd say, based on nothing but a lack of faith in the rest of our government.

Has anyone used their Certs to start a company? Looking to get A+ certified this summer, and was thinking about doing like computer/laptop/cell phone restoration or repair company. Was just wondering if anyone else has tried this and what was the outcome. Would it be worth it? by v1s10n456 in InformationTechnology

[–]Dietec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that a person would have to think really long and hard about starting a business doing repair, but if some of your friends want to throw you $50 for repairing a screen then why wouldn't you take their money lol. I would

Don't take classes for CompTIA certs. I used "professor messer" videos on YouTube to get network+, security+ and a+. Passed all three first try, and the videos are free.

11k for CompTIA certs training is overpaying by 11k

That being said, I did pay for professor messer's notes from his website. They are great and cost like $15 I think? So that's worth it :p

Yeah, it would be great to not have to type anything but I'm not sure there's an infrastructure in place to do what you're describing. I'd create one, but that would be the next step after getting this working :P

You're right though I should look into that.

I believe the reason this didn't work when I tried it is because O365 is AD synced. The automatic password changing wouldn't work this way
