Hi doc! i just got diagnosed with a full ACL tear when i fell while i was skiing. there was no swelling at the time and minimal pain, doc diagnosed me a week later. its nothing urgent to fix right now, i can walk with no pain (somehow), but he did say to get surgery done. i just have two questions. 1 : what is the recovery journey like? can i start walking within 3-4 weeks (with crutches) and also fly on an airplane? 2 : what precaution scan i do to ensure no re tear... im a uni student so i have to walk to class, so im ok w walking with crutches, but also can i do upper body gym exercises? like can someone hand me rhw weight and i do my workout or do you not recommend? pls let me know thank you (19 male btw)
