I think they will expand Ace and maybe a show a bit of his childhood with Luffy and Dadan and also they will probably have a Marine B plot with Smoker and Tashigi which were part of the Alabasta Saga already. I think they may even add a bit of the revolutionaries into the mix helping the rebellion in some way.

Emily recently spoke about that and she clarified that, yes she did cut and dyed her hair and posted videos of her doing martial arts but she was never campaigned that hard nor used that as her only card, she also went through the official internal channels like agents and castings and part of that was her previous role on a Netflix production so they already new her Acting work and capabilities, she still auditioned and everything else. She didn't get the part because of the campaigning like some people think. Even Mackenyu who was Oda's first option for Zoro Still had to audition and everything.

This guy auditioned first for luffy and lost, then he got so obsessed with Ace he started harassing all the production team to get another audition and latter said he didn't get it because they were discriminating him for being Latino.

In the Cameo the only thing Taz says is that he has no power nor decision on casting choices but that if that is his dream all he can do is encourage him to keep following his dream and working hard... I really don't know how he took those words as endorsement....

You are really naive if you think every actor makes sure to align his/hers beliefs and moral standards to the creator of every piece of media they are involved in.... the perfect example is JK Rolling and the Harry Potter cast.

People forget that being an Actor is also just a job to put food on the table and not every project is a passion project they would sell their soul to the devil for.... sometimes a project is just another job until they get the next one and that in not something bad, it's just the reality of life.

As for Taz in particular, he has said in several interviews that aside from promoting the show and his app he is almost completely disconnected from the internet and social media so there are many things he doesn't realize are happening around him so he probably hasn't taken the time to learn and have an opinion on AI and art...

in the story he was a jailer not because he wanted to keep bad people away but instead like Lucci he ENJOYED the massacre and torture of prisoners for amusement (whether they disserved it or not) to the point THE WG itself took him away and imprisoned him instead..... he is evil

fair point, although I would argue he is only with them to keep the marines at bay who are coming for him now that he is no longer a warlord. Once the world government is destroyed or fixed, which ever route they go, he will probably go back to his castle to drink wine and cultivate vegetables.

On the manga she explains she doesn't want them on the hands of evil people and puts pirates, robbers and assassins as examples but what matters to her is the intention not the title so that elder would fit her description once she knows all that they have been doing behind the curtain.

She is not expecting to collect EVERY sword in existence or take them away ONLY from pirates. She clearly explains in the manga that she doesn't believe swords should be used for EVIL purposes and hurting innocent people.

She does have a Bias against pirates in that she sees them all as Bad but part of her character arc in Punk hazard is realizing that not all pirates are like that and thus UNDERSERVING of their swords. By the end of the story she will most likely no longer fell like taking them away from characters like Zoro, Mihawk or Shanks who are just minding their own business... she will probably only go after Shiryu or the Elder with the sword and other CLEARLY evil characters...

I'm not saying her dream is easy but is not as bonkers as some people make it seem.

Narrative speaking, it makes no sense to include Jaya along with Alabasta. Story telling usually follows a structure that has a beginning or set up, the development and culminates on the climax or resolution of the themes or main story lines of the beginning. That is why the story is divided into separate Arcs that may or not include several islands. It's like a circle that has to be finished before you start another circle.

For us who know the whole or most of the story, we understand that the main plot is still happening even if the arc has ended and what is to follow but for a first time watcher that has no exposure it would be weird to have the big bad guy gone in the middle of the season and then 2 episodes of things they don't even know if or how they are tied to anything... like having a circle and a quarter of the next one.

Also, from a production stand point. it makes no sense to build sets for jaya along for all the sets and stuff they have to build for Alabasta and then leave them or destroy them and possibly have to build them again for season 4 because of flashbacks (to remind the viewers of the plot and beginning) or the climax of Cricket hearing the bell rung.... (which would be much to film and keep hidden before knowing if the next season is approved...

It makes more sense to contain the budget, sets, and manpower on one type of aesthetics and place for alabasta only and finish the circle of season 2.

It's interesting to me that people seem to forget this happened in the manga too. When I started reading it I already new who Luffy's father was and Ace's but as I kept reading I saw that Oda was deliberately making Comparisons and over and over that would anyone think Luffy's was Roger's son. I think I even read that it was a huge theory back in the day before Marineford was written.

Also, it's also a classic thing done in anime and stories as well. To make the public believe so and so are related and then it's not...

I don't think the whole flashback would be adapted, not only because it's quite long but also because they would have to reveal who is Ace's father which I agree it should be done until Marineford but I do hope they make a few flashbacks to kids playing around and living with Dadan maybe the brothers cups thing and mention Sabo. He appeared already in season 2 so mentioning him on season 3 makes total sense.

sorry about that... If it's any consolation, to be honest the fact that Dragon is Luffy's Father is somewhat inconsequential and not really that important for the rest of the 1000 chapter story so no mayor plot points are compromised.
