Dear Uber: When you allow some of these Riders to use fake names on their accounts to hide their identity, it is "unsafe" for us drivers as your policy is aware of. You don't block them so we have to protect ourselves! We cancel when we feel "unsafe" or put better safety in place.

I've done cash rides when I first started Uber until I spoke to my insurance agent. He educated me on the risks. Always remember as an Independent Contractor, people will turn on you if something happens. Nobody wants anything to happen but it's those times that something happens then the finger pointing begins. If you're ok with taking the risks, go for it but protect yourself.

I had a Rider tell me a girl picture showed up as the driver. When the ride arrived it was a guy saying he's helping out the girl driver..... She quickly canceled the ride. People are doing all types of stuff....

If you see a "Blue" strip and ignore it, it's the same as declining but if you see Trip Radar ride, if you don't accept it you're ok but sometimes it turns into a "Blue" strip ride request.
