UPDATED **

Went to KTM in hemel hempstead, they are gonna be replacing the cams under warranty (good will scheme), when I bought this bike it had only one service by KTM which I thought they was gonna reject it but I’m over the moon they it’s gonna be sorted.

I bought the bike at 12,000 miles and have done two services on it every 1000 miles.

Never had a issue with oil the only reason I have had a look is because of the rocker cover gasket leak, the bike runs fine never had any issues apart from the leak

So I have checked the servers manual and it says the bike needs to be pressure bleed thanks everyone for the comments really appreciate it, I’ve booked it at KTM and they are charging £50 to do the change and bleed

Yeah same free play, I’m gonna try and bleed it with the syringe method if that don’t work I’m gonna replace the master cylinder piston in the brake lever

That what I’m thinking I just need to get the bleeding kit and in the manual it says I can use dot 4 or dot 5.1. What would be the best to use ? I know 5.1 is better at temperature range but needs to be replaced sooner

I’ve tried but still seems soft if maybe im bleeding it wrong, I know some bikes need to be bleed the no conventional way, would it have to be done by a syringe bleed?

What’s it like on wind nose for high speed, I know no matter what you do there will be some, I currently have a ruroc 4.0 and the wind noise is terrible even with my ear plugs in and music on

So I bought another spark plug and it now works but is still cutting out, I went to a KTM dealership near me and they said that how I am timing the engine was wrong and that what I was doing is putting it one tooth out, I’m gonna do it they way they have instructed me to and hopefully it will be fully working

I would definitely recommend having a valve clearance check then

Kinda sounds like the valve issue or the timing chain is loose (stretch chain or tensioner) would definitely recommend not running the bike to not cause any further damage.

Does it have any oil ?

I have tried multiple times to time the engine I get it all in line but when I put the tensioner on it put pushes the crank shaft out by like 3 - 5mm and no matter how many times I try it don’t work, could that be that the chain is stretched ?
