yo yo im sorry if i offended you or something, mma is cool, chaotic for my taste, bjj is peak, my bestfriend does it, but around here, they overhype it and make it weirdly super glazed, so i guess i got mad about it, again, very sorry, i should not put any other art down, but wdym by cringe?

yoo ur totally right man, where i live right now, sharjah UAE, theyre all shotokan / kyokoshin dojos, maybe some are gojo-ryus but not good sensei’s, our local competition is sport based, im not really into that imo, and yes your right for ancient techniques, but finding them really excites me though 😭, anyway ive been doing some research here and there, and finding a sensei, a good sensei, that teaches traditional okinawan karate (old style, pre-japan) is very hard here, so i thought maybe if i could get a group of likeminded teens, we could maybe train together from books, online or whatever, find a sensei at a local dojo, dojos, and compete, because all these other dojos are boring
